"iZombie" Season 2 is definitely happening as the new fan-favorite show has been renewed by CW. Fans of the show are asking if Liv's, played by Rose McIver, roommate Peyton, played by Aly Michalka, will be back for the second season of the show as rumors started to swirl that she will be reprising her role for the upcoming episodes.
Breathecast reported that the last time Michalka was seen on "iZombie" was when she ran away from Liv after knowing that her roommate became a zombie. She was terrified and afraid and her leaving was assumed to be the last of her. However, this might not be the case as a recent report shared that the ton.show's creator, Rob Thomas, revealed that Michalka would be coming back as Peyton.
Thomas shared, "Because she's not a series regular, we can't control her schedule. We can hope that when we write these episodes for her that she can and will do them." It was reported that Michalka had to leave her character as Peyton in the first season of the show in order for her to be able to do season 2 of "iZombie." However, it still remains unknown if Michalka will really be in season 2 and fans just have to wait for further announcements.
Meanwhile, other spoilers reported by IBTimes for iZombie Season 2 include the murder of Lt. Suzuki, played by Hiro Kanagawa, and Blaine becoming a human again after he was injected with an untested zombie cure. Detective Babineaux will be directing his attention to the murder of Lt. Suzuki in order to find out who really killed him.
Aside from that, the fathers of Liv and Evan will be introduced for the second season of the show. According to Realty Today, Thomas hid the families of the main characters of the story from surfacing in the storyline because he was unsure of how to introduce them and weave them in the plot of the story. Season 2 of "iZombie" promises more answers to the hanging questions that fans have in mind.
"iZombie" Season 2 will be premiering this fall.
