Marvel's 'Agent of SHIELD' along with 'Agent Carter' is heading to San Diego Comic Con this July. It may be a chance for fans to have some more scoop on the third season of the series. It might include the potential villains, additional characters and the storylines for the upcoming season.
Although fans were a bit disappointed when Marvel will not hit theaters, the upcoming San Diego Comic Con is something to look forward to. According to Deadline, Marvel is sending TV troops to the said event with 'Agents of SHIELD', along with 'Agent Carter' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.
In the set schedule, there will be a panel in Ballroom 20 revolving around 'Agents of SHIELD' season 3 and the second season of 'Agent Carter' on Friday, July 10. The following day will have the cast signing event for both series and Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb will be talking and showing a whole lot of animation - including an exclusive peek at the upcoming 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' TV show heading for Disney XD in the fall.
According to Cartermatt, the said event will possibly give some more scoop for the said event. But ABC is known to be tight when it comes to sharing some spoilers on both shows. Still, a thing or two can be gleaned from the San Diego Comic Con.
As 'Agent of SHIELD' Season 3 premieres this September, recent reports have confirmed that fans will be seeing more of Agent Mack and Lincoln Campbell. Earlier this month, TV Line had announced that Henry Simmons and Luke Mitchell had been promoted to series regulars. Executive producer Jeff Loeb even went so far as to gush about Mitchell's pivotal role in the upcoming season.
MoviePilot notes that the upcoming 'Captain America: Civil War' movie on April 2016 will have huge impact on the show due to the introduction of inhumans being introduced on 'Agents of SHIELD' season 3. The site is also looking forward for the secret warrior characters, including Coulson (Nick Fury), Quake/Skye (Daisy Johnson), Lincoln (Luke Mitchel), Deathlok, Mockingbird (Bobbi Morse), Slingshot, Sebastian Druid, Stonewall, Ward/Taskmaster, Simmons, Wrecking Crew and the leader.
