Korea's Best live group SHINee waves goodbye as they perform their last stages of their fourth full-length album entitled "Odd" across weekly K-Pop music shows.
The group's last week of final stages started with M! Countdown on June 18th where the five-membered band performed special stages in addition to their promotional single "View." They performed "Odd Eye" live which was written together with the title track and another ballad "An Encore" by lead vocalist Jonghyun.
On Music Bank, SHINee performed "View" again and serenaded the audience with "An Encore." It is interesting to note that after the live performance of the two B-side tracks "An Encore" and "Odd Eye," they subsequently climbed up the charts ranking number one and number three respectively.
Member Minho hosted Music Core to which the group of non-faltering vocals performed "View" and the group's debut song "Replay" sequel "Love Sick" reminding the fans that is has indeed been a seven-year worth of adventure with SHINee.
Lastly, "View" came again and this time with "Odd Eye" on the boys' final stage in Inkigayo. SHINee also held a mini-fanmeeting after the show for the fans that came to watch them.
The title song "View" which is relatively new to K-Pop being a deep-house music accumulated a total of nine trophies across its life-span in the music shows, although it could have won more had the music shows not halted during a country-wide sports week in Korea.
It has beaten other big groups such as BIGBANG and EXO during each of the groups' nominations when the said title track was on its peak.
After a successful album release with "Odd" topping charts domestically and internationally during its cycle of promotion and managing to stay in the top five to 15 after the title track's fifth week since release, SHINee says hello with a new repackaged album that will be released early this July.
The said follow-up has been announced ready to hit the charts again although no specific date has been set, neither a hint about the concept for the new album has been made public yet.
Fanbase SHINee World is already anticipating the new album release and is expecting SHINee to return to weekly music shows as they resume to party and casually talk with the fans during break times.
