"Chicago P.D.'s" Sophia Bush has recently talked about her character in the show and what people will be seeing in the upcoming episodes. She noted that her character will be grieving and she wants the fans of the show to witness how her breakdown will be affecting the show.
"Chicago P.D.," an NBC show, has been running for two seasons now and it is about Erin Lindsay, a recovering alcoholic and a member of the CPD Intelligence Unit. Last season, fans of the show were able to witness the death of her friend and co-worker Nadia whom she was not able to save. Bush's character will be having a difficult time dealing with the loss in the upcoming season as previously reported.
The final episode of Season 2 showed that Lindsay turned in her badge after not being able to save Nadia and the resignation from her post left everyone asking many questions about what will happen to her and the show. In a recent interview with The Wrap, Bush talked about what people should be waiting for in season 3.
Bush shared, "The toughest thing I had to do this season was having Erin unravel in such an extreme way very quickly following the death of her friend. I had to wrap my head around her behaving in ways that she spent a lot of her life walking away from." She pointed out that her character will be backsliding so drastically that she hopes the audience will be able to relate to it.
The actress also talked about people who have not yet watched the show noting that "Chicago P.D." is a really gritty, layered, and adrenalized, show that takes a look at people who are considered to be heroes and anti-heroes in the community.
In another interview, Bush also talked about when the big turnaround for the season will be as nothing is set in stone so viewers should just watch the upcoming episodes that Chicago PD Season 3 has for them, Ecumenical News reported.
"Chicago P.D." will be premiering this fall. The show airs every Wednesday at 10 P.M. on NBC.
