"American Horror Story: Hotel" will be the goriest of all the past seasons of the show as series co-creator Ryan Murphy announced what people will be expecting for the fifth season of "American Horror Story." Murphy shared in an interview that the overall feeling for this season will be pure horror.
Inquisitr reported that "American Horror Story: Hotel" will be a truly horrifying season and it will be featuring Lady Gaga and Matt Bomer. Murphy shared that the season will be based in the hotel in horror movies as they have researched real-live hotels in Los Angeles where creepy and eerie things are happening and have happened. He added that whenever a person checks into a hotel, there are some things that one could not have control over.
Murphy did point out that despite Lady Gaga being a singer, there will be no musical numbers in "American Horror Story" Season 5. He said that it is very interesting that they have casted a lot of singers for this show's season but they are expected to sell the story through acting and not through songs to veer away from what people know them for.
The co-creator added, "I'm excited about that and I think that's why Gaga was excited about it; it's not something that she's ever done before. It's a pure acting part," Christian Post reported.
Kathy Bates will also be part of the show and will be running the hotel despite Gaga landing the lead role for the latest season of the series. Finn Witrock will also be working with Gaga and Bomer and he might be involved in a love triangle with the two other stars.
As for Jessica Lange, who has always been part of the previous season of "American Horror Story," Murphy confirmed that she will not be in the latest installment but assured fans of the actress that if he has a part for Lange, he will definitely call her citing the fact that the actress needs a break from the show, IBTimes reported.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" will premiere this October on FX.
