Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden 3DS Hits US October 20: Revival of F Advanced Tickets to Limited Screening ON SALE June 26

Hardcore Dragon Ball fans across North America are in for some doubly delightful treat as Bandai Namco, the publisher behind the massively popular Dragon Ball Xenoverse title, has officially announced that Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden which was first released in Japan early this June is on its way to hit US and other regions in October. Meanwhile, the much awaited US special limited screening for Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F is set this August and advanced tickets will be on sale come Friday, June 26.

IBTimes reports that on Tuesday, the publisher has confirmed that US gamers will be receiving their copies of Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butodon for Nintendo 3DS on October 20. This surprising news came out after few weeks that the new game debuted in Japan and post E3 2015 event. Other regions like Europe, the Middle East and Oceania, though, get an earlier launching slated on October 16.

"Bandai Namco is listening to fans and will keep on surprising them over the next few years," Vice President of Marketing & Digital at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe Herve Hoerdt stated enthusiastically. "In the meantime, everybody will enjoy a high-quality fighting game based on one of the most emblematic Anime & Manga ever created!"

A total of 20 playable characters including Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo with a 100 supporting characters are featured in Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden.

In this demo, players can choose a Free Battle and a Vs. Battle picked so as to pit against another player. From the character select screen, myriad of fighters and assist characters can be selected and fighters get 1 whole slot out of the 3 available choices while assist characters only have half of the slot.

In related news, Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F is all set to premiere in select theatres across US and Canada for a limited screening from August 4 through August 12. Funimation has announced on their Twitter account there will be a sale of advance tickets for the movie June 26, Friday:
