The PS4 exclusive No Man's Sky is coming to PC, where the release date will likely be at the same time. This was announced by Hello Games studio during the press conference for the PC in the recent Electronic Entertainment Expo. The original plan was to launch the game for PlayStation 4 initially, and then the PC version will be to follow. Nonetheless, the exact schedule is yet to be revealed.
There was definitely a lot of juicy information divulged about No Man's Sky during the E3 2015. For one thing, gameplay footage was shown so fans have a better idea on what to expect from the indie title. A unique feature of the game is that the open world is simply huge, that it could house an unimaginable number of players. A user could end up going to a planet that no other player has explored in the past.
As noted in a recent games report, the developer also hinted that all the planets are completely destructible, should that be the player's desire. An important clarification about No Man's Sky is that it is no longer having a timed exclusivity for the PS4. This is because the launch for both the said console as well as for the PC will be simultaneous.
A smooth and raw gameplay video of No Man's Sky has also been shared on VG 24/7. The video sees the excitement of planet exploration, which is accompanied by eerie extra-terrestrial sounds. At the same time, navigation and space combat were demonstrated.
There is still no specific launch schedule for No Man's Sky, although it is expected to be some time in 2016. However, Hello Games gave a reassuring statement which goes, "we'll announce a release date soon, I promise." With the expansive universe that the game encompasses, players will have to wait a bit longer for more details.
