'True Detective' Season 2 Episode 2 Recap: 'Night Finds You' Is All About The Future; Star Taylor Kitsch Dishes About His Role As Paul

"True Detective" Season 2 Episode 2 just aired and it is entitled "Night Finds You" where it was all about the youth becoming the future, moving on and leaving the past behind. For this episode, Ray is struggling to be a father, Ani does not want to accept whose daughter she really is and Frank continues to worry about his wealth.

This season's mystery for "True Detective" is about the murder of the corrupt city manager Ben Caspar and the four main stars are beginning to reveal more about themselves and what they want to leave behind as part of their past and move on with their future, USA Today reports.

Ray has been asked by his ex-wife to leave his sons' life for good but he refuses to do such as he wants to be a good father. Amid all these, Ray was also offered by Frank the job of being chief of police but he refuses it although being continually pressed by the latter. As for Ani, she basically rides around with Ray as they try to solve the death of Caspar.

According to Fashion & Style, "True Detective" Season 2 is about Caspar's autopsy and if it has something to do with his love for prostitutes. Frank will be focused on what happened to Caspar's missing fortune.

Meanwhile, "True Detective" star Taylor Kitsch talked about the secret of his character Paul. The Daily Beast reported that Kitsch's Paul is a troubled motorcycle cop for the California Highway Patrol and the actor really wanted to be in the show as he was a big fan of it. He told the publication that he always wanted to be part of the show.

Kitsch reveals, "With Paul, you really do see how much shame he carries, and it slowly unfolds throughout. I will say that in Episodes 4 and 5, you really see this guy fall."
