"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is set to premiere in Japanese theaters this August and a US release is already expected. Although it is already anticipated in the country, questions regarding the plotline are continuously coming.
The story revolves on Naruto's son, Boruto, who is also Uchiha Sasuke's student. Despite the image of Naruto's archenemy during the previous manga editions, there's a a massive change in the point of view - wherein we could see Sasuke's saving Konoha's Hokage's son.
Trying to win over the challenges of the ninja ranking exams, and surpassing his father's accomplishments, Boruto is like his father. With the legacy he has from within, it is already given that antagonists would try to kill him.
Mitsuki, a Japanese name meaning full moon, is identified to be the spin-off's possible antagonist. Despite there's no confirmation from Masashi Kishimoto, and that this Konohagakure shinobi is Boruto's teammate together with Sarada Uchiha, it is still possible that a remake of Naruto-Sasuke archrival would show up.
There is a part in 'Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring' wherein Mitsuki had a touching moment of telling Sarada that her illness is getting worse. Given the benefit of the doubt, the characters' relationship could probably cause the conflict between Sarada-Boruto hypothetically romance.
With the limited number of spoilers and details from the creator, Masashi Kishimoto, the fans could only expect the best and wait until August 7th in Japan, and a fall release date in the US for the answers.
