Good news to all Batman PC players out there. You may now play up to 10 different characters in the game in just a simple press of the button. This feature has been made possible by Wastelander121 and MrJAG who came up with this mod.
As of the moment, the Batman PC game still has some unresolved performance issues in it since its launched last week. According to Gamespot, Batman: Arkham Knight's Mod Playable Free Roam lets you explore Gotham City in different characters, aside from Batman. You may switch from the Bruce Wayne character to Robin, Catwoman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Commissioner Gordon, Nightwing, Red Hood, Azrael, and Gotham City Police Department Officer Owens.
As stated in a recent article released by Polygon, the unmodified and official version of the game, however, still needs a lot of work to be done, according to its developing studio, Rocksteady. Just yesterday they have released a game patch that fixes some of the game's issues.
In Batman: Arkham Knight's Mod Playable Free Roam, the characters have their own different gadgets and movements in the game. Playing the game while switching on the different characters is fun to do, but the mod developers advice the players to run a virus scan first, to save their files, and back up the game before using the new game modification, so as to avoid having frustrations and messing up with the original game design.

Playing the others characters aside from Batman, makes the gaming experience worthwhile as this feature is only offered in small parts through paid game expansions. For the meantime, Batman: Arkham Knight was pulled out from Steam by its publisher, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. As told in a community post by the said publisher, "The work is significant and while we are making good progress on improving performance, it will take some time to ensure that we get the right fixes in place."
