Kim Kardashian has a fast growing growing resume. The reality star is an entrepreneur, mother, actress, and now she can add educational speaker to her resume, much to the dismay of a lot of people.

According to a report with The Daily Beast, The Commonwealth Club of California which is a prestigious institution was founded in 1903. The renowned institution has hosted revered speakers such as Martin Luther King Jr., Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Ronald Reagan. On Tuesday evening, it opened its doors to pop culture Queen Kim Kardashian.

The reality star took to the stage to promote her new book, Selfish, which is a coffee table book of her infamous selfies. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star also talked about her top-grossing app, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. She also discussed some personal topics.

The discussion took place in intimate, fireside chat with Judge LaDoris Cordell. Kim personally chose Cordell, who is notably the first female African-American judge in Northern California. While the judge didn't pull any punches, she did delve on some personal topics including Caitlyn Jenner.

"We all as a family prayed and hoped that people could understand it," Kim said "Unless you're actually going through it, you'll never one hundred percent understand it. Caitlyn is so grateful for all of that. The reason we wanted to share our family story over it during a two-hour special was to show that every family member will have a different opinion or reaction to something, and that's okay. Everyone has a different emotional transition to find their own way to support it. Caitlyn has helped me learn to be less judgmental. Through it all, I saw it might be difficult for some people, but that's still okay."

People were furious that Kardashian was to meet with Cordell, saying that it was an insult to Cordell. People all over social media posted their sentiments on the institution's Facebook page.

However, Inforum director Caroline Moriarty Sack informed everyone that Kardashian was invited as a guest because of "what she is doing in terms of business and social media and the way she makes us question our understanding of modern feminism, for better or for worse."
