'Castle' Season 8 Spoilers: Premiere Date Revealed, Stana Katic Will Star In First Episode; Will Rick Get Close To New Character Hayley?

By

"Castle" Season 8 is to start filming soon as it has been confirmed that the show will be coming back to the small screen this September 21. According to reports, it will be entitled "XY" and it will be featuring actress Stana Katic.

In a report by Carter Matt, the first episode of the show will be written by the showrunners Terence Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley and it will be a two-part episode as it is said to be very important since there will be many things discussed to open "Castle" Season 8. The upcoming season will be having 22 confirmed episodes.

According to the publication, Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic will be present in all the episodes unless the newcomer, Hayley, will be doing something to break the two apart. IBTimes reported that Katic just signed her new contract during the Season 7 season finale so it means that there is no truth to the rumors that Katic will no longer be in the show's Season 8. As for Fillion, who plays the role of Rick, he already signed for a one-year contract with the show even before ABC has given a go signal for "Castle" Season 8.

It has been reported by Breathecast that this new character named Hayley will be close to Rick and she is this quick-witted, free-spirited and former LAPD cop who will be a security specialist this upcoming season. Rumors have not been confirmed as to what her real role is as it has surfaced that she will be Rick's new love interest or possibly someone to secure Stanic's role, Beckett, since she wants to run for the senate.

Fans are yet to discover who Hayley is and what her real motives are once "Castle" Season 8 comes back to the small screen. It will be airing at 10 P.M. on ABC this coming September 21.
