The Super Smash Bros. latest DLC would be that of the Lucas, Roy and Ryu playable characters. However, it has been confirmed by Nintendo that more content would be on the way. As would be observed among the titles of the publisher, like that of Hyrule Warriors and Mario Kart 8, these downloadable add-ons are continuously being well-received by fans.
When it comes to Super Smash Bros., more content is certainly what keeps the game alive and interesting. With so many characters, the possibilities of characters facing each other through different skills just keep growing. Masahiro Sakurai, the Game Director, has already announced that Nintendo will continue to deliver more content for the said title.
The DLC characters for Super Smash Bros. began with Mewtwo, where it became a bonus for those who got the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS versions. Nonetheless, it can still be purchased if the player is not entitled to it for free, just as how Roy, Lucas, and Ryu, eventually became available during the E3 2015. Fortunately for the game, fans enjoyed the new characters and continued to ask for more.
It should be noted, however, that the recently added characters were not the result of the open poll for fans. Sakurai clarified that they were already in development before the poll became live for gamers to cast their vote. This implies that input from the fans is still yet to mold which DLC would arrive next.
In other news, a dedicated gamer to the Super Smash Bros. title shared a video with 8 Ryu players facing off each other through the signature Hadouken attack. This was managed through only two players, but with several controllers.
The Super Smash Bros. latest DLC have done nothing but keep fans excited for more characters to come. With Nintendo taking in third-party characters, perhaps gamers will finally have the chance to see other popular entries like Rayman, Simon Belmont, Joanna Dark, King K Rool, and a whole bunch of other content.
