Reviews of the recently released 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus earned Apple a new title to having been able to create a unit as "thin and sexy" yet "bigger and better" smartphones. Eventually, this raised the expectations of the consumers to the next-generations of iPhones, and leaks of the new features of iPhone 6s bombarding the internet and media.
As the upcoming release of the new iPhone 6s excites the market, Ming-Chi Kuo releases updates on what to expect aside from the integral Apple features of iPhones in the past several years.
Improved 4G. 4G (LTE) chip will speed up downloads to double up to 3000Mbps, theoretically speaking. Qualcomm affirms that the improved LTE chip is faster and efficient, requiring a more durable battery of the handset, since browsing on 4G requires so.
Rose Gold color. In addition to Gold, Silver and Space Grey in the market, Rose Gold iPhone is confirmed to be released next according to The Wall Street Journal. This is accompanied by a new casing material, as early this March 2015, Apple is said to be working on improving the durability of iPhone 6s making it waterproof.
Upgraded NFC. The new chip which will be used in iPhone 6s will come from NXP, upgraded into the new 66VP2 part number, compared to the latest released unit of iPhone 6 with 65V10 part. Other anticipated features. Camera resolution is boosted to DSLR quality and Full HD to 4k video camera. The front camera will match Sony Xperia Z3+ to 5MP. IPhone 6S will be in sapphire crystal on its next release.
