"House of Cards" Season 4 has released a new casting update noting that Neve Campbell has joined Kevin Spacey as a series regular. The fourth season of the show will be about Frank and Claire Underwood heading into an election although they seemingly broke up during the final episode of Season 3.

In a report by Fan Sided, "House of Cards" Season 4 already had Campbell sign up to be a series regular. Campbell is not a stranger to television shows as she already became a female heroine in the show "Scream" and was the teenage Julia Salinger on the FOX series "Party of Five," which basically made her career skyrocket. She was also featured in the Canadian TV show entitled "Catwalk." She also had roles in the shows "Mad Men," "Grey's Anatomy," and "An Amish Murder."

Campbell also became known to the film industry as she was part of "The Craft" and "Wild Things." The 41-year-old is also on the NBC show "Welcome To Sweden," which is already on its second season.

However, the role of Campbell on "House of Cards" Season 4 remains to be unknown as it is being kept under the wraps. Many fans of the show are saying that she might be coupling up with another character in order to be the rival of the power couple Frank and Claire Underwood, MXDWN.com reported.

Express also reported that the creator and executive producer of the show, Michael Dobbs, said that Season 4 will be wicked and much more exciting adding that it is because of the great writers and the great directors as well as the great actors of the show.

Frank and Claire Underwood headed for a break-up during the final episode of "House of Cards" Season 3 and it remains to be unknown until when the two will remain unknown for how long Frank can go without his partner in crime.

"House of Cards" Season 4 is set to return on Netflix this 2016.
