The much awaited movie dedicated to the DC Universe' ultimate villains, Suicide Squad, is currently in the works, moving bit by bit to meet its scheduled release date next year. Although plot details are scarce, the cast members, however, have always been reliable at revealing details about the characters and filming updates.
All for art it is, as actor Adam Bleach who plays the role of Slipknot in the movie, revealed that a therapist has been hired for the cast members. Although not exactly a therapist, but a life coach has been hired to keep the group on the right track while filming. "David Ayer is about realism, so if your character is tormented, he wants you to torment yourself. He wants the real thing." Bleach said.
"Us actors explore very fine thin lines going to the dark side and he wants to make sure we finish a movie and don't disappear somewhere and then don't show up for work." he explained.
Meanwhile, Jai Courtney revealed more about his look as Captain Boomerang and said that his beard wasn't his idea but is director David Ayer's. "He just picked up the clippers and started shaving me. I'd shown up quite hairy so you've got freedom to kind of move. And he just started attacking me and at first and I was like 'Ok what are we...' And he's like, 'you look like bad news. Looks like your buddy got drunk and cut your hair...' And he was like 'it's good' and left." he said. Apparently, Courtney does not think of his beard as a serious topic and is willing to change anything for his character.
So far, reports suggest that filming for the movie is doing great as Margot Robbbie who plays the role of Joker's love interest, and partner in crime, Harley Quinn, posted a photo of her standing in front of a DC Universe inspired cake. The cake was a gift for her from the crew for her birthday. Its decoration are covers of the books which starred Harley. "Harley's cake - thank you squad!" Robbie captioned. Aside from the cake, she also posted a photo of different colored balloons, and wrote the caption as "Spoilt rotten today".
Suicide Squad cast also includes Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg. It is set to hit theaters in August 2016.
