There are lots to expect from 'House of Cards' Season 4. This includes, foremost, the unstable relationship of Frank and Claire. But latest spoilers reveal that that the two could end up back together, as they face new couple or rival for the presidency election. And Doug will be happy to be at Frank's side, doing the dirty works.
'House of Cards' season 3 ended with Claire leaving President Frank Underwood, who was in the fight of his life to win the Democratic nomination. Previous reports told that the there will be an intense battle or 'power struggle' between the former couple in season 4 for the top position.
This competition, however, will be short lived or at least for a season as new couple is fighting against the presidency election too. TV Line divulged that 'House of Cards' Season 4 will introduce a couple who are the mirror image of Frank and Claire, only younger and (possibly) more British.
It is speculated that Neve Campbell's character will be one of the rivals in 'House of Cards' season 4.
If that is the case, Frank and Claire may end up getting back together. After all, the couple is the strongest when they are together fighting a common enemy. But previous reports reveal that things are not reversible for Claire. But with this kind of show, anything is possible to happen.
Meanwhile, Frank and Claire's split has also positive effect, at least for Doug. The previous season also saw Doug (Michael Kelly) becoming Frank's chief of staff.
In an interview by Indiewire, Michael Kelly, who plays Doug, talked about his character in Season 4. He said that, "All [Doug] wants is to be back where he knows he belongs."
It is said that Frank is more efficient with Doug by his side. And their partnership can be pretty exciting, which is just right for the 'wickedness' of season 4.
