GTX 980 Ti might be ahead and on top in the area of the fastest and accelerated graphic cards in the GeForce 900 series. NVIDIA is prominent in the market of the high-end graphic card. It made a confirmation about its launching day during the event of Computex 2015.
Alhough it is not competitive enough against Titan X, it has the enormous count of its core at 12Gb of GDDR5 VRAM. Titan X is very costly for the graphic card but despite that, it sold more than the Titan Original, and even the GTX 960.
The latest GTX 980 Ti will be similar to the Titan X performance but has the specification that will be appropriate to make the price at its low cost. That serves a solution for the majority of gamers that demand the optimization in terms of price and performance. It does mean that GTX 980 Ti would be the junior version of Titan X.
The GTX 980 Ti card will feature the 6Gb of GDDR5 VRAM while the Titan X has the size of 12Gb of GDDR5 VRAM. So, it turned out that GTX 980 Ti's VRAM is the half size of Titan X. However, 6gb is more sensible in gaming compared with 12gb. There might be a difference in final clock and specification because GTX 980 Ti does not support GPU-z version.
In design, it does have 8+6 pin power connector configuration and for display output, it has DVI, HDMI, and 3x Display port. On the other hand, NVIDIA decided to lessen the card from the GM200 24 SMM's making it 22 SMM's which results to the total of 2816 active CUDA core. The core clock remains with the size of 1000Mhz with a boost clock of 1075Mhz, and both are equipped with NVIDIA metal-shrouded cooler.
As the given specification above, it has made adjustments in order to make the video card cheaper but GTX 980 Ti still has the other aspects that are identical to Titan X.
