"American Horror Story: Hotel" already started shooting on Monday, July 6, as actor Denis O'Hare took to Twitter to share the good news to his fans later last week. Also Ryan Murphy, the series co-creator, shared that he was challenged to make the script as it was all about his fears.
Denis O'Hare responded to a tweet when one of the fans asked him to visit Milan. He shared, "Would love that. But I have to go back to US and start work on AHS-Hotel on Monday." According to IBTimes, it remains to be unknown where the cast will be filming and if it is really true that the production already started. Murphy did share last March that the filming for "American Horror Story: Hotel" will not start Until August.
The publication added that the FX show might be shot in Los Angeles as the last two seasons of the show entitled "Coven" and "Freak Show" were shot in New Orleans. It was reported that a six-story hotel is being built on the Fox lot, Fashion & Style reported.
Meanwhile, Design & Trend reported that series co-creator Ryan Murphy talked about how it was challenging for him to write "American Horror Story: Hotel" as he shared in an interview: "Particularly this season ['American Horror Story: Hotel'], which is about a personal fear and phobia that I have that I haven't explored since the first season of 'Horror Story' because it f--ked me up and I didn't want to write about things I was scared of -- but I wanted to go back to that."
The fifth season of the show also does not center on just one character so it is very different than the previous seasons. Murphy pointed out that "American Horror Story: Hotel" will be bloodier and much darker as he teased that it will be "straight horror" this year.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" will be featuring Angela Bassett, Cheyenne Jackson, Chlöe Sevigny, Finn Wittrock, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Max Greenfield, Sarah Paulson, and West Bentley.
