"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 is premiering this fall and major spoilers have been revealed for the show's upcoming season. This includes a major spoiler about Kaley Cuoco's character, Penny, and her relation to another character in the show. It also remains to be unknown if Penny and Leonard got hitched in Las Vegas and if Amy and Sheldon will still get back together.
In a report by Inquisitr, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 will be showing Penny's relationship to one of the characters. Her surname remains to be unknown so it is yet to be revealed who she is linked to. It has been reported that her surname is Barrington but there have been no confirmations regarding this information.
Aside from this spoiler, fans are still intent to know more about Sheldon Cooper and Amy as the latter dumped the former during the Season 8 finale of the show. Crossmap reported that the finale of season 8 was heartbreaking for a lot of the fans of the show. Amy and Sheldon started dating five years ago in the show and it seemed that Amy was already tired of dealing with the relationship's slow pace.
Steve Molaro, the creator of "The Big Bang Theory," said in an interview, as previously reported, said in a statement regarding Shamy: "I don't know exactly what's going to happen but he's clearly fond of her. I don't think they're done speaking by any means. He's so fond of her - something is going to happen between them, I'm sure."
The publication also reported that Mayim Balik, the actress who plays the role of Amy, gave away some details about the ring that Sheldon was holding towards the end of Season 8. She pointed out that it might not actually be an engagement ring and that no one knows where Sheldon got it or what he plans to do with it.
"Big Bang Theory" Season 9 will air on September 21, Monday, on CBS.
