Hardcore gamers who are looking forward to Five Nights At Freddy's 4, the fourth and purported to be the final installment of the widely popular PC and Mobile craze, must be happy to hear the news that surfaced online just recently. Game creator Scott Cawthon has officially confirmed its release come August 8. An arrivial of 'Five Nights at Anthrocon' DLC is also imminent and will become available on Halloween this year.
Destructoid reports that Cawthon has e-mailed YouTuber Dawko to reveal that Five Nights at Freddy's: The Final Chapter gets an official launch on August 8 and consequently, Dawko has shared this exciting information on reddit. The announced release date exactly falls on the debut of the original game and apparently, this is in celebration of the franchise' 1st year anniversary.
To add more fuel to the excitement of fans for the upcoming sequel, a FREE DLC called 'Five Nights at Anthrocon has alos been announced to be released for the new game on October 31. It can be noted that this will be the first title in the game series to be receiving an expansion pack.
The reported email reads, "Ok, here is some news for you, and you're welcome to make a youtube video to announce it if you want!
I'm going to release Five Nights at Freddy's 4 on August 8th for the 1 year anniversary of Five Nights at Freddy's. To keep the Halloween date special however, I'll be working on a free update with extra content to release on October 31st. I also plan on having a trailer ready for next weekend!"

Five Nights at Freddy's was first introduced as a survival horror title for PC Halloween last year and allows players to take on a role of a security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a Chuck E. Cheese-like entertainment center.
The gameplay becomes intense as players found out some animatronic characters turned out to act strange where there's the need to use of security camera footage and precautionary defenses with a scarce supply of electricity. The game gets much suspenseand scarier if one of the robots sneak out of the security station's radar.
The first game became insanely popular on several video sharing sites such as YouTube, Twitch, where lots of gamers posted their scary adventure into Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. There's a massive following to the game that a movie adaptation is underway.
Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is officially set to hit PC and mobile on August 8 and in celebration of the game's 1st year anniversary, 'Five Nights at Anthrocon' DLC will be thrown away for free this coming Halloween.
