The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Patch 1.07 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC is due for release this week along with the free DLC that was accidentally leaked earlier.
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Patch 1.07 arrives with tons of improvements and to be the biggest update yet with plenty of fixes and bringing an entirely new game features.
"The patch is said to be the biggest yet with whole new storylines with all the elements you've got in the main story," says game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz in an interview with Game Reactor who notes that the update is almost the size of Witcher 2 game itself.
"And it will be cool, it will be new stories, it will be very emotional stories and I think that people will be happy," added Tomaszkiewicz.
CD Projekt Red has revealed the full patch notes for the large update at the developer's official website. It includes the following: alternative movement style for Geralt,fixes a rare issue where the player's horse would not fall to the ground properly, adds a stash for player where they can now store their loot in their stash and it can be accessed in different parts of the world.
In addition, the Zoltan gwent card is now always present near the Hanged Man's Tree if the player did not win it earlier in White Orchard and fixes an exploit whereby players could loot gold from a single chest more than once, among the tons of fixes and improvements that are brought by this patch.
Meanwhile, the prematurely and accidentally leaked Ciri outfit is reported to arrive alongside Patch 1.07 most likely this Thursday.
CD Projekt Red Community Manager Marcin Momot warned the gamers via Twitter that the new Ciri Outfit avaialble in the next DLC was released ahead of its schedule and players should not download it because it is still not ready yet.
Momot said that the DLC was prematurely released via XBL and he strongly "advised against using it until it releases officially." Momot, however, did not say the exact date of the release of new content.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is developed by CD Projekt Red for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC that was released on May 19, and sold over four million copies in two weeks after its release date.
