Looks like Ben Affleck had yet again removed his wedding ring after an appearance at Comic Con. The Batman v Superman:dawn of Justice actor and her wife of 10 years Miracles from Heaven star Jennifer Garner has confirmed that they are getting a divorce late this June.
In his first post-split appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday, July 11, the actor kept his wedding ring on. He talked casually about his iconic role Batman, admitting that he was nervous to play the character. But after the Comic Con panel, the Oscar winner Affleck was spotted out in S anta Monica, Calif., on Monday, July 13, with a bare wedding ring finger.
The couple said that after much thought and careful consideration, they have made the difficult decision to divorce. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding." They said on their joint statement with People on June 30.
Nevertheless, they still live together in their 8,800-square-foot Pacific Palisades mansion while the divorce is in process. They wanted to separate in a friendly way and co-parent their three kids: Violet, 9, Seraphin, 6, and Samuel, 3.
The 43 year old Ben initially removed his ring right after their split announcement, but he was spotted wearing his wedding ring again as he entered the Center for Civil and Human Rights according to Daily Mail.
The tension between the Hollywood couple was mostly the result of the actor's inability to take control of his vices, mainly women, alcohol and at times, gambling.The two first met as costars on the the set of 2001's Pearl Harbor, then reconnected making their 2003 film Daredevil and started dating soon afterward. Their marriage has been a subject of scrutiny over the years.
