Marvel's 'Agents of SHIELD' cast members revealed during the San Diego Comic Con 2015 that they have not seen a new script yet, even though the production starts very soon. However, they still able to tease that a new Inhuman named Lash will be coming in Season 3. And, Skye will be using the name Daisy going forward.
Along with 'Agent Carter', Marvel's 'Agents of SHIELD' cast and crew have attended the San Diego Comic Con last Friday (July 11) to answer some questions from press. According to Den of Geek, the cast members were not too generous to give plot details.
The 'Agents of SHIELD' panel was massive. Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain de Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge from the old guard were joined by the new cast members and series regulars Henry Simmons, Adrianne Palicki, Nick Blood and Luke Mitchell on the panel.
It was reported that all cast members of 'Agents of SHIELD' had not seen the latest script yet, even though the production starts within a couple of weeks.
Later on, Marvel TV head honcho Jeph Loeb has introduced a video from the Whedon duo. Los Angeles Times notes that the video has revealed that Chloe Bennet's Skye character will have a new identity. She will have a new name- Daisy "Quake" Johnson. It was also told that Daisy's new team will be called the Secret Warriors.
Actor Clark Greg (Director Phil Coulson) also confirmed that Skye will become the leader of the Secret Warriors next season of 'Agents of SHIELD'. He said, "At some point, later down the road, Skye becomes the leader of the Secret Warriors. I don't know if that's where we're going."
Before leaving, Loeb revealed that a new Inhuman named Lash is coming to 'Agents of SHIELD' Season 3. The new Inhuman has the power to manipulate (absorb and redirect) energy. It is speculated that the new character will bring an arc among other characters.
'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD' is scheduled to return for season 3 on Sept. 22 on ABC.
