"Better Call Saul" Season 2 will start production after the cast and crew had a successful table read. Series writer Tom Schnauz confirms that they are moving out to Albuquerque to shoot the successful "Breaking Bad" Spin-Off Series.

The production team behind AMC's 'Better Call Saul' just finished a successful first table read late last week according to Call Saul Now. They were also reported to have begun their first production meeting during the same week with series writer Tom Schnauz announcing via his Twitter account that the crew are prepping for filming in Albuquerque.

The series, which is a spin-offof another AMC program entitled 'Breaking Bad', is set in the year 2002 and follows the life of lawyer Jimmy McGill (also known as Saul Goodman) who is played by actor Bob Odenkirk. The series is a prequel of 'Breaking Bad' and showcases the lives of various characters before their appearance in 'Breaking Bad'.

Personalities who were present during the season's first table read included Bob Odenkirk who plays the titular Saul Goodman, Rhea Seehorn who plays the ambitious Kim Wexler, and Jonathan Banks who plays police officer Mike Ehrmantraut. Another cast member, Patrick Fabian, was also spotted in their set in Albuquerque. Fabian plays lawyer Howard Hamlin in the series.

The Better Call Saul season 3 cast occasionally took breaks from shooting by signing posters on set. Call Saul Now featured how Patrick Fabian shared the event on his official Instagram account to which fans bombarded the photo with questions as to how they could get their hands on the autographed posters. Aside from Fabian, other cast members were also busy with updating their fans on social media regarding the production.

Better Call Saul season 2 will have 13 episodes unlike the first season which only had ten. AMC has not yet released an official date for the premiere of the series, but has announced that it will most likely return in early 2016.
