A new level of drama is expected in the upcoming 'The Affair' season 2. Recently released trailer confirms the speculations that the show will feature 4 main characters' (Noah, Alison, Helen and Cole) own perspectives. While the previous two perspectives already created confusion among viewers, the newly added perspectives are said to clear the whole story.
Showtime has recently released its new trailer and poster with clear indication that there will be 4 sides of the whole story.
According to TVLine, the trailer confirms that Helen and Cole's perspectives will be included in 'The Affair' season 2. This fall, fans should expect to hear another side of the story. During the previous season, only Noah and Alison's versions were out. But many viewers said that they already got confuse which side they will be on, especially about how Alison and Noah met.
Deadline notes that the 4 perspectives would mean four distinct truths. Viewers will have to find out which one is saying the truth and which is not. But take note: Telling the story from two points of view will add complexity to the story.
In an previous interview by E!, show creator Sarah Treem has already mentioned that they were planning on showing Cole and Helen's take on the events, as 'The Affair' Season 2 will provide lots of answers to the varying perspectives between Alison and Noah.
Meanwhile, Daily Mail UK reports that Season 2 will also feature Helen and Cole's action towards Noah and Alison's betrayal. It is said that the Helen and Cole have not gotten over their exes.
Furthermore, Noah will remain the lead suspect in Scotty's murder, causing a search for the actual killer. 'The Affair' Season 2 is expected to air its first episode before 2016. But Showtime has not announced its exact date yet.
