For this year, the Google Nexus 2015 phone was said to be already in the works and rumoured to launch in Q3 2015. The forthcoming flagship from Nexus leans towards a handset created from Huawei, a Chinese manufacturer.
The Phone Arena reports that Google is partnering with Huawei is to acquire more recognition in smartphone markets inside the Western markets such as U.S. and U.K. Huawei seems to be struggling to gain popularity and take control over competitors over this area, so the priority of Huawei is to build its brand in such markets. Recently, there was a leak from @eveleaks which revealed some updated specs rumors.
According to the leak, a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, and a metal design are some of the features expected in the upcoming Google Nexus phone. In addition, the a leak also claimed that a built-in fingerprint scanner will also be included in Huawei Nexus, which comes as no surprise given that the Google's upcoming Android M OS will include this as one of its biggest features.
The latest version Android, possibly 5.2 is also expected to be featured by the upcoming Nexus handset; however the hardware, possibly to be fairly classic like the other top models this year. Moreover, reports speculated that a Snapdragon 810 chip will be shipped for the Google Nexus phone, as well as a 3,500mAh battery. PC Advisor reported that the new Nexus phone will be having a 5.2in full-HD screen, a 13Mp rear camera and an octa-core processor.
Google is expected in overhauling the forthcoming Google Nexus 2015 that will offer renewed specs and latest features. According to some reports, the Google nexus 2015, which is the larger of the two Nexus handsets, will hit the market this fall, meaning in the late third quarter of 2015. If the next Nexus phone will be built by Huawei, then a price roll back down to around £300- to £350 could be witnessed.
