The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.07 for PS4, Xbox One as well as for PC versions is now live and continues to roll out worldwide. The update is for PS4 is 7.544GB and the Xbox One update has a download size of 7.3GB.
The arrival of the latest patch is confirmed earlier today by CD Projekt Community Lead Marcin Momot on Twitter saying, "Patch 1.07 will be arriving on all platforms in the next 24h. Once it's live everywhere, we will officially announce it. #TheWitcher."
The patch introduces tons of improvements and set to be the biggest update yet for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with plenty of fixes and bringing an entirely new game features.
It brings a "whole new storylines with all the elements you've got in the main story," game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz stated in an interview with Game Reactor noting that the new expansion is almost the size of Witcher 2 game itself.
"And it will be cool, it will be new stories, it will be very emotional stories and I think that people will be happy," added Tomaszkiewicz.
While the fixes that come with the new update include an alternative movement style for Geralt, tweaks a rare issue where the player's horse would not fall to the ground properly, ssue with a loading screen at Aeramas' residence during the Of Dairy and Darkness quest.
It also adds a stash for players where they can now store their loot and it can be accessed in different parts of the world. In addition, it also addresses an exploit whereby players could loot gold from a single chest more than once.
