Nexus 2015 has appeared on a benchmarking sites revealing Google's new manufacturing partner LG and Huawei ditching Motorola with a whopping 5-digit points score.
The 2015 version of Nexus 5 has been kept secret by Google as of now but AnTutu and Geekbench have already leaked an image of the latest device with API number 22-85530.
Although there is not as many specifications laid down on the table, LG promises that the Nexus 2015 will be a superior device than Motorola's 2013 version. Nexus 2015 is expected to rock a 5.2-inch screen display with 1440 x 1920 pixels. Although Snapdragon 820 is slated to power up the devices, some tech sites believed that Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 will take the stand for 2015 Nexus 5.
The 2015 Nexus 5 will house a 3 GB random access memory, a notch higher than its predecessor. Its rear-view camera will wear an 8 MP with optical image stabilization and a 1.3 MP front shooter.
A 2,700 mAh non-removable battery is also expected, ditching the predecessor's 2,300 mAh battery.
With the current fuss about operating system, the new software Android M is also slated to run the device. Just recently, the 2013 Nexus 5 has received the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update.
The release of the 2015 Nexus 5 has seen by Google to unveil as well its new software Android M. Android product manager Jamal Eason first hinted the news in a forum on Android Developers Blogspot.
According to reports, Google's next flagship smartphone will be out in the shelves around October or November.
According to AnTutu, LG-manufactured 2015 Nexus 5 hit a whopping score of 85,530 points, surpassing Samsung's latest smartphone offering Galaxy S6 which scored 68,157 points. Motorola Nexus 6 followed suit with 47,079 points. Huawei's version, however, has not been spotted on list.
In another news, an anonymous source claimed that the supposed 2015 Nexus 5 is LG's G4 Pro device. It will reportedly rock a fingerprint scanner and a sophisticated metal panel.
Meanwhile, a tech site already revealed that two Nexus devices might be coming up this year.
