In the new episode of ABC's "The Whispers" titled, "Broken Child," Sean and Claire will look into the past of one of Drill's victims. The two worked together to find the man and now they will look deeper into the life of one of his prey to know more about Drill.
ABC's sci-fi thriller will take its viewers back in the past to have a closer look into its main antagonist, Drill. Sean, played by Milo Ventimiglia, and Claire, played by Lily Rabe will be joined by Barry Sloane's Wes and Kristen Connolly's Lena as they delve into the life of one of Drill's victims three decades ago, according to Zap2it.
"Broken Child" will follow the last episode of "The Whispers" titled, "A Hollow Man" that saw Sean and Claire took matters into their own hands and tracked down the man connected with Drill before he killed him, reports Christian Today. The two decided to look for Drill's victim after learning from Minx, played by Kylie Rogers, that her not so imaginary friend survived the rock.
The ABC series continues to gain more and more attention as its story develops. Christian Today also reported that the show now holds the top spot on playback gainer on the broadcast networks among the adults 18-49.
Many were impressed with the new thriller series created by Soo Hugh as its first season currently has a 75% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The audience score gave the show a 71% rating with an average of 3.6 over 5.
There are still no news however, if the show will be renewed for another season especially with Lily Rabe planning to leave the show permanently. Deadline reported that the actress and other cast members were not particularly happy with the production being located to Vancouver from Los Angeles. Milo Ventimiglia on the other hand has been eyed for a lead role of USA's "Shooter." ABC is yet to make an announcement regarding the show's future.
For the meantime, fans should watch out for "The Whispers" episode 9 titled, "Broken Child" where Sean and Claire will take viewers to the past of one of Drill's victim to study their connection. Despite the favourable response of both critics and viewers, ABC stiil has not officially renewed the sci-fi thriller.
