Katniss Everdeen is ready for action once again for the upcoming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. Cast and crew members shared their thoughts about the film during the last San Diego Comic Con. Also, a new 14-second trailer had been released for the upcoming film.
The last San Diego Comic Con panel for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 was moderated by Conan O'Brien along with the film's big stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, and Willow Shields. The movie's panel also included director Francis Lawrence, and producer Nina Jacobson. The 3 lead cast members reportedly stayed affectionate towards each other and even shared their thoughts about the movie.
According to actor Liam Hemsworth, his character, Gale, will be holding a bigger role in the upcoming war against the Capitol. Gale "has been on the sidelines before," he said, but now "becomes a big part as to how attack the Capitol."
Actor Josh Hutcherson also revealed details about his character, Peeta, saying that he is on his way to recovery. "It's a long road to recovery. He's trying to get himself back." Aside from that, Hemsworth also revealed that he will be having a scene in the movie with Hutcherson and even jokingly said that they might even kiss during the scene.
Meanwhile, as for Katniss, Jennifer Lawrence was asked about her favorite scene in the franchise. While it took her quite some time to decide, Willow Shields, who plays her sister, Primrose, suggested that it could be the scene where she volunteered as tribute in the Hunger Games but Lawrence said that the scene is in the upcoming movie and she's not allowed to talk about it.
A new 14 second video had also been released showing a couple of new snippets from the movie. A new trailer is also expected to be released a week from now. So far, the film's crew had been quite generous and effective in keeping the fans excited, as a couple of trailers and posters have been released during the previous months as well as during the recent Comic Con.
Fans are now encouraged to take part in the revolution against the capitol in the movie's official website. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 cast also includes Natalie Dormer, Gwendoline Christie, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, and Sam Claflin among many others. It is directed by Francis Lawrence and is set to hit theaters in November 2015.
