Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is apparently releasing very soon as a spate of FCC filings while some other details on specifications have gradually been revealed.
What started out a rumor in the last few weeks may be true after all as some leaks have come out. Although the tech giant has not officially announced the release yet, reports are firm that Samsung's upcoming flagship device will be out in public announcement before the year ends.
In most cases, release dates of devices in the US comes shortly after FCC filings. According to reports that has surfaced, August 12 sees Samsung's release of Galaxy Note 5.
Some details of the Galaxy Note 5's release and specs include August as the grand launch while US major mobile carriers AT&T and Verizon Wireless have earlier confirmed the FCC filings. According to reports from Gotta Be Mobile, AT&T's Galaxy Note 5 has model number SM-N920A while Verizon Wireless' version has model number SM-N920V.
Stronger evidence that Galaxy Note 5 is really coming out this year, Blog of Mobile wrote in its report that Sprint's version of Galaxy Note 5 is in queue at the FCC. However, other reports point out that September or October might be the big month for the device's release following Samsung's pattern.
In the previous releases, the South Korean tech giant took advantage of IFA 2015 to announce its Galaxy Note devices. With Apple's iPhone 6s release expected as well, experts believe that Samsung will make a space from Apple.
In another reports, Galaxy Note 5 specification details have leaked including a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a new S pen, a 4 GB of RAM, a 4,000 mAh battery, four color variants and a new Exynos 7 processor.
Among these, the S Pen is the most detailed. The S Pen will have an auto-eject ability and clickable top. A new metal design will also be featured.
Samsung has remained silent regarding these details.
The most recent revelation pointing to the device's release is the listing on India's popular import-export tracker journal Zauba that reveals a model unit with number SM-N920F, the same code spotted at the FCC. According to the details, units were shipped to India last Thursday.
The same track record unveils that Galaxy Note 5 would cost US $572. However, there is no closure at Samsung's end so far.
