It looks like the likable wall-wrecking villain is not returning to the big screen alone as Nintendo's most iconic mascot may join him in "Wreck-It Ralph 2". Disney is said to be already in negotiations with the gaming company to include Mario in the newly confirmed sequel.

Last week, the fans of the hit animated video game-themed movie "Wreck-It Ralph" have received a back-to-back treat from the helmers of the film. The fan-favorite villain-turned-good-guy, Ralph, will not only be returning to the big screen himself, but also his voice actor John C. Reilly. Now, it seems like Disney has one more present in store for its fans with a new comer slated to share the same screen with the titular character.

Even before Disney has not officially given the green light yet, director Rich Moore has already brainstormed ideas for the desired sequel. Apparently, one of his plans is to include Nintendo's most iconic mascot -Mario. It was noted that right after the first film premiered on 2012, the filmmaker has already expressed his interest in including the character, saying "We'll really come up with something good for Mario to do [in the next film]. " According to him, Mario would be a 'great' addition to the characters, considering his popularity in the gaming field.

The Mouse House seems to be fulfilling Moore's wish. Food World News reports that the studio is already discussing the licensing agreement of the character with Nintendo. 2012's "Wreck It Ralph" was noted to have grossed over $470 million worldwide. With Mario on board, there is a bigger chance that the sequel would outdo the first record.

No details about its plot have been revealed yet. But it is expected to be rolled out anytime soon, now that the sequel is already confirmed.
