Now that Nick Jonas is already a free man after officially calling it quits with Olivia Culpo, is he rekindling his romance with Selena Gomez?
It seems that many NickLena shippers wanted the former Jonas Brothers star, Nick Jonas and the former Disney child star, Selena Gomez to be together. They are convinced that they are trying to get back together after many sightings of spending time in a couple- ish hang out.They were seen together all over places including Detroit. Selena was spotted at Nick's concert in Detroit on a Saturday night as she sneakily jammed along with the crowd. And it seems no joke that Selena is always seen accompanying Jonas gig after gig. Was she supporting Nick or was she just getting some tips for her singing career from her Disney colleague?
Selena seemed to be like this when going to Nick's concerts. She seemed to move sneakily and wants to keep things private. In this video of Selena years ago, it's as if she doesn't know that the whole world is watching her as she made her entrance at the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago. She apparently made her way out the bus on the sly but NickLena fans are all eyes on her.
But the dating rumors really swirled all over the place earlier this month when they were spotted again dining out together. And now Nick wants to clear things out once and for all in his recent interview on Capital FM. He said when asked about the diner out, "We kind of ran into each other a couple of weeks ago, like walking in Venice. We were both with separate groups of friends and we ran into each other." " I put a dinner together with a bunch of really great people, like the Haim girls, who I love. They're awesome. They're the best. It was a big group of people and we all had a great time. We connect in that sense. It was nice to connect and just catch up. I'll leave it there!", he added.
In the said interview, Nick seems to respect and value her friendship with Selena. He didn't exactly sound like he's now ready to rekindle the fire with Selena. In fact, when host Max Akhtar asked Nick about the possibility of him getting back together with her, he said, "There's also lots of other options."
But still, shippers of both artists are not convinced by Nick's explanation. They are still very hopeful that the two would eventually reconcile and date. Why not, right? Both of them are living young and free since Selena finally moved on from Justin Beiber and her romance with Zedd cooled after a few months. Nick Jonas, on the other hand, just split from her ex- girlfriend, Oliva Culpo.
