Xiaomi, the Chinese based mobile phone manufacturer behind the affordable yet feature packed line-up of smartphones and mobile devices, would be releasing it premium Mi Note by the end of July as advertised in their website.
Xiaomi would be releasing the Mi Note by July 28th in Malaysia based on the company website. The Mi Note would feature a "5.7 inch Full-HD LCD phablet wrapped with aluminum sides, and weighing in at only 161g is the brand's most premium and sleekest looking model to date," based on a report from New Straits Times. The ergonomically designed phablet would be sold at RM 1,549 or roughly a USD 406.50.
Tech enthusiasts could also check out the Xiaomi Malaysia website to learn more about the features of their latest mobile device. Apart from the sleek design, the phablet also boasts a "Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with four Krait 400 2.5GHz cores" that was reported on the website to "perform 14% better than its predecessor." Add to that, a "3GB of LPDDR3 memory allows Mi Note to run demanding 3D games or handle complex multitasking with ease," based on Xiaomi Malaysia's website.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi remained as one of the top manufacturers of affordable yet stylish and technologically loaded mobile devices in Asia, based on a report from Daily O. Xiaomi's latest smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 4, would be released with 3GB RAM that normally would be seen on high-end smartphones. It would also come with a 13MP camera at Rs 14,999 or USD 234.50.
Then again, Xiaomi faced tough competition with other companies that produce affordable smartphones in its home country, based on a report from Times of India. Xiaomi had reported that the recent fall on sales of their mobile devices that once topped the cellular market in China was due to the saturation of the market.
Xiaomi's overall shipments in China had shrank for the first time in six-years after being the one-time leader in smartphone manufacturing; nonetheless, fans of the Xiaomi brand across the globe would be expecting a diverse set of mobile devices from the mobile device company as it continued to push outward from its home base.
