'Fargo' season 2 is taking fans away from the modern day back to the swinging seventies in Sioux Fall, South Dakota and Luverne, Minnesota. The chilling vibe of the setting will also introduce viewers to gruesome murders, sex and violence. Its first full trailer released hints that the season will start from small to something bigger.
FX Network has been consistently teasing fans of their hit series 'Fargo' for season 2. It's recently released trailer was lengthy than the previous sneak peeks. The two and a half minute 'Fargo' season 2 trailer is full of plot details.
According to IBTimes, the lengthy trailer starts with Patrick Wilson as Lou Solverson, a role previously portrayed by Keith Carradine. With his partner Sheriff Hank Larrson (Ted Danson) walking into the town's 24 hour Waffle Hut, the two officers uncover a disturbing murder scene.
Things are slated to get a whole lot bigger this year. As Nick Offerman's character Karl Weathers, who is without a mustache, said in the trailer, "Like a break in at the Watergate Hotel. But this thing's only getting bigger."
Aside from the murdered judge, 'Fargo' season 2 will also focus on Kirsten Dunst's character, who seems to want much more out of life, and Kieran Culkin's character, Peggy Blomquist, who appears to be wanted for numerous crimes, and what looks like a war between rival criminal enterprises, according to WSJ blog.
Obviously, the trailer did confirm that the second season will be filled with lots of stellar actors and actresses. Aside from Wilson, Offerman, Danson, and Dunst, fans will also see Jean Smart, Jesse Plemons, Kieran Culkin, Brad Garrett, Jeffrey Donovan, Bokeem Woodbine and well, fans will see even more familiar faces.
Previously, the 'Fargo' season 2 detailed synopsis reveals the next chapter will take fans to 1979 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Luverne, Minnesota, as it premieres on October.
