CD Projekt Red has confirmed two big expansion titles for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and also unveiled new promotional images for both of these add-ons to fuel more excitement for its loyal gaming fan base.

The first expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is dubbed as 'The Hearts of Stone' and an image reveals a red-haired female who looks like the Shani from the origional game of the franchise, The Witcher. When the image first came out, its legitimacy was put in question by some fans but the developer has confirmed the said reveal. No other additional details were provided, however, regarding the identity of the woman in the promotional art.

CD Projekt Red Community Lead Marcin Momot revealed via Game Spot saying, "as far as the character portrayed on the illustration, we'll leave that for the community to figure out."

The other add-on is titled Blood and Wine and the related image shows a castle on a hill which is presumed to be set in a place called 'Toussaint' which takes Geralt to "a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret."

It is said that 20 hours of gameplay will be provided for Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone will have around 10 hours of exciting new content. Hearts of Stone will be released in October while Blood and Wine is expected to be out in the first quarter of 2016. Both of these expansions will cost $25 and will be included in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion Pass.

And for those who haven't heard, a recent major update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Patch 1.07 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC went live worldwide with download size of 7.544GB for PS4 and 7.3GB for Xbox One.

This is set to be the biggest update ever made for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt so far, bringing in a plethora of fixes and introducing a set of new game features. The full patch note details can be viewed at the game's official website.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released on May 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms.
