Stratton was quoted, "I've seen people and even had people say, "Oh, that looks easy.' That is not easy. The game is a challenging game, it's like [the original Doom] in that respect."
In addition to that explanation, hand-picked developers were taken to showcase aspects of the game that is compatible to their expertise.
In terms of in-game specs, there are designated stages or locations in the game that adds a certain degree of challenge when it comes to extinguishing the threats. Polygon comes forth up to date as well with the information to look out for. The E3 demo was rather controversial and questions were piled up. Stratton explained, "There was no trickery. Even in moments that kind of feel like, 'Oh, that might have been scripted.' Enemies can move through the environment in really unique ways." And to agree further on the fact, Art director Hugo Martin affirmed, "No two people play through it the same."
Doom is scheduled to be released in 2016 without a specific date for the next gen consoles. Gore and action fans certainly cannot wait for meat-tearing, armor-piercing and bullet wasting pandemonium to befall their play rooms!
