NBA 2K16 Major Gameplay Features Leaked: Summer League, Team Relocation, SimCast Live, 3 Team Trades and MORE

By

Ahead of NBA 2K16 release date this coming September 29, a leak of major features that will be included in the next title to the 2K series has been making rounds online right now.

According to Tech Times, Operation Sports was able to get screenshots of the reported leaked details on NBA 2K16 to feature game's MyGM, MyLeague, MyTeam and new 2K Pro-Am modes that would certainly please the avid basketball sim gamers.

The purported leak has also revealed the inclusion of the following features:

Summer League - this feature is in NBA 2K10 and 2K11 as part of MyCareer, and both games did have the D-League

Team Relocation - this feature is new and old as one couldn't 'relocate' a team but could also use classic teams such as replace the Kings with the Supersonics

SimCast Live - is coming back all the way from the days of PS2 and Xbox.

News ticker - is found in previous NBA 2K10

Three-team-trades -is also in the previous generation of consoles

Moreover, the screen grabs reveal the players will be able to customize options for MyTeam and MyLeague and the new 2K Pro-Am modes will include 5v5 simultaneous matches of MyPlayers with up to 40 players.

It is important to note, though, that this leaked information on the release of NBA 2K16 has neither been confirmed nor denied by 2K Sports.

Meanwhile, it's also in the news that there will be at least 10 NCAA teams that will be added to excite the fans even more with the latest title in the franchise.

That and don't forget that the minds at 2K tabbed Spike Lee to direct the game's MyCareer feature, giving it a cinematic feel and better story.

"We follow a kid through the trials and tribulations of being a top high school player and the decisions he has to make," Spike Lee spoke to US Today back in June. He is said to have filmed a of 90 minutes equivalent to 12 hours of in-game drama.

2K Sports has received a license to 11 universities that will be the game's MyCareer Mode, the game's story-based mode. The licenses for Arizona, Arizona State, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Texas, UCLA, UConn, Villanova, and Wisconsin Universities have all been handed in to 2K with the help of the Collegiate Licensing Co.

The NBA 2K16 is confirmed to arrive September 29 on Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and the Xbox 360 consoles as well as Windows PC.
