On Friday, the former Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev was spotted spending time with Whiplash actor Austin Stowell having quite the romantic getaway in a yacht. The couple was seen kissing and holding each other, lounging at the deck together, taking a spin on a jet ski and showering each other with affection.
Hanging out at swanky hot spot, Club 55, Nina and Austin had no qualms about putting on a show for nearby paparazzi who captured every passionate kiss.
Nina Dobrev, hasn't had a serious relationship since her split from Ian Somerhalder, 36 who was also her co-actor in Vampire Diaries. It was clear though that the brunette beauty has found closure and moved on from the break up and is happy for Ian's marriage with Twilight actress Nikki Reed.
Although it is not confirmed from both Nina and Austin, the pair has started heating off the summer in a comedy club date. Nina and Austin attended the Hallmark Shoebox event at The Improv in Hollywood on June 10 and they spent the evening getting cozy as they were seen kissing and laughing together at the comedy show. The actress even brought Stowell along to watch her movie The Final Girls at the Los Angeles Film Festival gala last week.
Apparently, Nina's best pal Selena Gomez is the matchmaker for the love birds. According to Hollywood Life, Selena and Austin became close friends while filming In Dubious Battle in Atlanta. Selena has been vocal about how wonderful and beautiful and talented Nina is. In coincidence, Austin and Nina are both signed to the same agency CAA and had crossed paths before, but it wasn't until spending time in Atlanta that they really got to know each other. This was back in January, so the two of them have been seeing each other since then. They've just recently decided to go public with their romance.
Dobrev was in the French town for Leonardo DiCaprio's star-studded Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala. The gala, which raised more than $40 million for the environment, was attended by Kate Hudson and Elton John, among others.
