Marvel will soon expose its mystical side with Doctor Strange. Actress Rachel McAdams recently admitted that she is currently in talks to join the cast, while Tinda Swinton who is set to play the role of the Ancient One still does not know about the gender of the character she is set to play.
Doctor Strange is in the works with The Imitation Game actor Benedict Cumberbatch set to play the titular role. Aside from Cumberbatch, actor Chiwetel Ejiofor is also said to be on board to play the role of the villain Baron Mordo.
While casting continues for the upcoming movie, Rachel McAdams, who was previously rumored to be in talks for a role officially confirmed it as true. However, McAdams did not hint if she will, indeed, take the role. "It's still super-early days, and I don't know where that's gonna go - if it's gonna go anywhere at all." McAdams said.
If ever McAdams takes the project, she is likely to play the role of Clea. A character who also has magic powers as a native of the Dark Dimension of Dread Dormammu and is also Doctor Stange's love interest in the story.
