Apple has released an updated version of their iOS 9 Beta, a little over two weeks after the release of the first version. It is expected to address some bugs issues that has hounded the initial iOS 9 Beta as well as to introduce or give the users a sneak peak some of the iOS 9's future offers.
Although the update would not promise any drastic changes on some its issues, PCMAG said that it will somehow address some of the bugs issues that made their Apple devices a pain in the that is equipped with the iOS 9 Public Beta. The updated iOS also brings back iOS 8.4's Home Sharing capabilities, which probably will lure more 8.4 users to try Apple's latest offering.
The iOS 9 was released for public testing and is available for download by simply following the usual software update that is applicable for previous iOS updates, OSDaily reported. The updated version of the iOS 9 is 300MB and it can be installed quicker than its older siblings.
But, the tech website suggested, users should always back up to avoid inconveniences that might happen along the way. Mac users, on the other hand, can also try the machine's updated iOS under the name of OS X El Capitan.
According to 9to5mac, an Apple dedicated tech website, also said that the iOS 9 Public Beta only works for iPhone, iPad, and the iTouch. The tech review website also disclosed that Apple will also release in a couple of weeks another update, the iOS Beta 4. The iOS Beta 4 will not be accessible for the public and will only be released to the registered developers who are developing Apple's upcoming operating system.
Aside from Home Sharing, iOS 9 Public Beta also offers a handoff user interface for multitasking view, picture in picture (PIP) support for video podcast playback, an updated web photo picker, and other interface fixes and enhancements.
Apple's iOS 9 is expected to hit the market this fall and most likely will be released together with the OS X El Capitan.
