Spoilers for Marvel's Agent Carter have revealed that the super villain organization, The Secret Empire, will be brought to life in the upcoming season. As revealed by showrunner Tara Butters during the cast's 2015 San Diego Comic Con panel, Agent Carter will certainly have to face a new bunch of super villains as the Secret Empire will become an established organization for the new season.

The Comic Con panel for Marvel's Agent Carter proved to be quite fruitful as spoilers for the new season kept on revealing what fans could quite possibly expect for the new season. As mentioned earlier, series showrunner Butters has already revealed the introduction of new super villains to the series. The Franchise Herald further added that the show will be making more comic book references for season two. She mentioned that there was probability for a part of the Dr. Strange storyline from the comic books to be included in the new season. This particular storyline, as Butters said, might just involve the super villain Dark Force which was described as a character that complements the villain Blackout. Although there have been no official statements regarding Dark Force, there have been some speculations that Dark Star, who is quite similar to Dark Force, might be the one to make an appearance on the show.

Aside from new villains, there have been news about Peggy Carter's possible love life for the new season. According to Master Herald, Marvel's Agent Carter season 2 will have a possibly love team prepared for Agent Carter. Michele Fazekas, one of the show's executive producers, revealed through a Master Herald report that Peggy would not only be attracted to one person in season two, but to several others. In addition, Fazekas revealed that Peggy's love interest should be in a way similar to Steve, but not totally. As for Peggy's actress Hayley Atwell, she says that her character's love life would be quite interesting for this season as Peggy and Jarvis (played by James D' Arcy) along with Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) will officially be living in Los Angeles in season two.

Other rumors regarding season two involved a possible nude scene for Hayley Atwell. However, the actress denied these rumors and said that for Peggy's character and role in the storyline, it might seem just inappropriate for her to be nude.

Marvel's Agent Carter season 2 is set to premiere on January 2016.
