Promotional video teasers for Pretty Little Liars season 6 episode 9 show that the girls are quite giddy for their high school prom. Unfortunately for the gang, they have been banned from attending the school even as the school sees them as a threat. Luckily for them, an alternative prom has been prepared. However, the girls better be prepared as Charles might just have plans for them during the evening of their festivities.
Charles was out again to terrify the girls according to a spoiler on Pretty Little Liars season 6 episode 8 which was posted by the International Business Times. As the girls have been banned by the Rosewood High School administration from attending their prom, there have been hints that Pretty Little Liars episode nine will prove to be quite a night to remember for the girls despite their having missed their high school prom. This is because the spoilers have also revealed that the girls Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily will finally be confronting Charles in the upcoming mid-season finale. On the other hand, Alison tries to learn more about her brother Charles who has been linked to the mysterious A figure in the series.
Further spoilers for the episodes after the mid-season finale signify a possible time-jump for the series. The International Business Times posted in another article of theirs that a five year time-jump could possibly be expected of the series as the girls would have settled in their careers. The show's executive producer Marlene King has said that although they won't be revealing much about the protagonists' futures, it has been hinted that there will be some who will be walking down the aisle. Unfortunately, series couple, namely Toby and Spencer, might be facing a possible split over the time-jump.
TV Line is also raising more questions with their post regarding the Pretty Little Liars season 6 finale. According to their report, the finale (which has been set to air this August 11), will be answering questions about the death of various characters like Toby's mother, Bethany's death, and most of all, who A really is.
Pretty Little Liars season 6 episode 8 is set to air on July 28 while the next episode, episode 9, will air on August 4.
