Are Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas dating again? The "Jealous" crooner had the chance to open up on the rumors swirling around tabloids after they were spotted together recently.

While some sources revealed that Jonas was thrilled to win back "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer, whom he dated twice before, some were saying that their recent meeting was uncomfortable.

On Tuesday, Gomez and Jonas fans could be disheartened after the 22-year-old "Chains" singer slammed the controversies during interview with Capital FM's Max Akhtar in London.

He stated there is no truth on Selena Gomez Nick Jonas dating rumors. The male singer cleared that there is nothing going on between them after they were seen together on a group dinner date.

"We kind of ran into each other a couple of weeks ago, like walking in Venice. We were both with separate groups of friends and we ran into each other," Jonas told Akhtar.

"I put a dinner together with a bunch of really great people, like the Haim girls, who I love. They're awesome. They're the best. It was a big group of people and we all had a great time. We connect in that sense. It was nice to connect and just catch up. I'll leave it there," according to Latin Times.

During the interview, the Capital FM's host teased on Selena being a great kisser. Jonas then timidly didn't answer the question and just commented that it was nice connecting and catching up with his former ex, Daily Mail reports.

Apart from Selena Gomez Nick Jonas dating controversy, the 22-year-old singer also answered the radio host question on the possibility of dating singer, Tinashe. Jonas quickly replied that she is somebody like a "homie." The singer added she is more of a friend and nothing could go more since they are workmates, according to E! News Online.

Gomez and Jonas are presently single. Jonas just split up with girlfriend of two years, Olivia Culpo while Gomez just had broken up with her long-time boyfriend Justin Bieber and DJ Zedd.

Still not giving up on Selena Gomez Nick Jonas dating rumors, Akhtar insisted on Jonas on the chance of getting back on Selena again. The "Jealous" singer then replied that there are still other options.
