One of the most devastating celebrity divorces 2015 could shake fans of the powerful duo, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. The pair announced their split Monday.
The country music's top couple request for their privacy and did not elaborate much on their announcement. No reason was specified for their breakup. Definitely it is one of the much-hyped celebrity divorces 2015 making it hard for the pair's followers to accept. Several speculations are now being thrown on the cause of their break up.
"This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real family, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter," the couple wrote in a statement.
According to some sources, the court divorce papers were filed by Shelton in Oklahoma. Since the two have a pre-nup arrangement, TMZ reports that it would not be too complicated for them to divide their assets. In fact, she has started to transfer her animals from the farm including a camel, horses, and a llama. Lambert will be getting their Nashville mansion while he will be having their Oklahoma ranch.
Another insider told Page Six that apparently, Lambert is enjoying too much with her touring, and she is not ready yet to have a baby. This was allegedly a point of difference for the pair as he already wanted to settle down and start building their family. She ultimately "love her career" and it was her priority, the source adds.
Shelton and Lambert split is yet another one of the controversial celebrity divorces 2015 following Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. But unlike Affleck and Garner, who have been bombarded with divorce rumors ahead, no one has anticipated the country singers breakup.
However days before Shelton and Lambert divorce announcement, she was seen fighting back tears in her recent performance at Cheyenne Frontier Days concert in Wyoming. Lambert, 31, started crying while singing "The House That Built Me" making it hard to end her song in front of 19,000 people. Lambert was also singing without her wedding ring, PEOPLE reports.
