Robert Pattinson's mother Claire Pattinson has been too attached to his son's ex-girlfriend Kirsten Stewart that it caused her having a hard time accepting her son's engagement to FKA Twigs.
Twilight alumni Robert Pattinson and Kirsten Stewart's romantic relationship has ended for quite some time now due to the actress cheating scandal with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders in 2012, but it looks like gossips about them can't stop popping out, and now, Pattinson's mother is involved. Fans have been speculating that that Pattinson's mother, Clare Pattinson, prefers her son to be with Stewart over Twigs.
Though fans might celebrate with the buzzing rumor, it is actually the opposite. Claire Pattinson seems to be very supportive of her son's new relationship and engagement with the singer FKA Twigs whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett.
According to the Daily Mail, Clare together with son Robert has supported FKA in her performance in Manchester at the Manchester International Festival, an arts festival at the Old Granada Studios. But this does not stop the theory that though Claire and the Pattinson family like FKA, they prefer Stewart more than her and they always compare every girl he's dating to Stewart. There is also a gossip that the support Claire is doing for the couple is just a way to fast track the wedding to happen and finally end his son and Kirsten's issues.
While Pattinson and his mother watched Twigs perform at MIF, Pattinson's ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, was off flying to Paris. Stewart, is getting ready for the release of her newest project, Clouds of Sils. She recently sat down with Marie Claire in Atlanta where she was filming Ang Lee's military drama Billy Lynn's "Long Halftime Walk", and discussed how her life has changed since her days on Twilight.
She said: "I'm really proud that I am able to move forward and not fall into every mental crater. That's a new thing for me. Age has made me smarter and calmer. And it is fucking awesome."
Stewart went on to reveal that her new approach to life has opened up her world and helped her grow as a person. She also added that the rough times she has experienced were good for her in the long run, and she now feels stronger for having gone through them.
