Drake Meek Mill Beef: After Accusing Drake of Ghostwriting, Canadian Rapper Fired Up With Diss Track ‘Charged Up’

By

Drake and Meek Mill beef has taken the limelight since last week after Nicki Minaj's boyfriend accused the Canadian rapper of not writing his own raps. In response to the escalating altercation between the two rappers, Drake came up with new diss track entitled "Charged Up" that is written directly for Mill.

The controversial Drake and Meek Mill beef spurred after the Philadelphia rapper charged "Started from the Bottom" rapper of not writing his own lyrics. Drake and Mill collaborated in the project R.I.C.O., where the latter accused Drake of hiring ghostwriters for the single.

Mill thinks that Drake has been hiring Quentin Miller, to write for him and to finish the raps for R.I.C.O., The Guardian reports. Mill tweeted to his fans, he don't trick his fans on fake lyrics.

The lyrics for "Charged Up" goes something like this:

"I stay silent 'cause we're at war and I'm very patient/ 6 God is watching/ I just hope you're prepared to face him/ I'm charged up/ Wow, I'm honored you think this is staged/ I'm flattered, man/ In fact, I'm amazed," according to MIRROR.

"Charged Up" features rhythms of rappers 40, Frank Dukes and Maneesh. It was heard over the weekend on Beats 1 OVO Sound Radio show.

At the midst of Drake and Meek Mill beef, Safaree Samuels, Nicki Minaj's former boyfriend claimed that he also worked as ghostwriter for Minaj's "The Pinkprint" album. In response to the heated online row between Drake and Meek, Samuels released a diss track, "Lifeline" charging Minaj of not writing her own lyrics, the same way her boyfriend accuses Drake.

"Lifeline" seems to be more atrocious while Minaj ex sang the lines, "This n**** bent outta shape with a gorilla face/ My bars on 'The Pinkprint' no one will ever match/ My d***- print lil n**** u could never match," TMZ reports.

Samuels also mentioned Mill at the end of the rap in shameful way.

Meanwhile, as Drake and Meek Mill beef becomes more obvious, Mill claimed that he is also going to release his own diss track to answer Drake's "Charged Up." Minaj denied her ex-boyfriend allegations saying that she doesn't ask any help from a "nigga" to write her songs.
