Another Liam Neeson news that hit this week could surprise fans of the well known action star. On Monday, he shocked his followers when Neeson, 63, was spotted walking along SoHo district looking fragile and definitely, he seems to be unrecognizable.

The apparent Liam Neeson news surfaced on weekends after the "Taken" actor was seen stepping out in New York donning a simple getup. The actor has obviously dropped off huge amount of pounds making him look pale and weak, Daily Mail reports. The weekend sighting left his followers in awe thinking that that he is in a bad state of health.

Neeson's reps quickly addressed the rumors saying the action star is as "healthy as ever." The 63-year-old has altered his diet and has been doing more exercise since last year, his reps add. These factors could have led to his incredible weight loss. It is only one of those "unflattering" photos of the actor the reps defended, TMZ reports.

At the height of Neeson news, many have speculated that he may be withdrawing from his projects. Back in March, the actor revealed that he is planning to discontinue his role in the "Taken" franchise. He thinks he is ready to give up action movies for the next couple of years. He will continue if he is healthy, Entertainment Online reports.

Last month, Neeson was spotted during the opening of Soho gallery Maison Mais Non, where he left an emotional comment regarding his age. The actor expressed his sadness as he approaches his 63rd birthday in June.

"My birthday is a touchy subject. I'm going to be 63 - nobody wants to be 63! I'm getting old."

As far as the latest Neeson news has been bothering his fans, his followers could expect more of the actor's movies in his upcoming films, "Run All Night" that is slated to be seen in the second quarter of this year. "Taken" fans could also see the action star in "Taken 3" that is expected to hit the theaters soon.
