Miley Cyrus made headlines again after the MTV VMA promo trailer hit online. The "Wrecking Ball" singer as usual made remarkable stint in the 15-second clip, where she was seen throwing middle finger up in the air. The video entitled ""F*ck yeeeeeeeeaaah, @MileyCyrus!" is set to be aired on Aug.30.
The controversial "Bangerz" singer was seen donning a feathery white jacket with glittering huge cherries on the top of her head. Earlier last week, the singer announced that she was chosen host for the 2015 MTV VMA gig in a creative Instagram post where she captioned her photo, "MTV won't let me perform ... So I'm hosting this year's VMAs," Huffington Post reports.
The MTV VMA promo trailer comes a week after Miley was criticized by Parents Television Council President, Tim Winter on an interview regarding her provocative ways, Gossip Cop reports.
"I think it's unfortunate she built her entire career on the backs of parents and now she's basically giving them the middle finger," Winter said. "With Miley's shtick, it's probably going to be very edgy, very profane, very sexually explicit."
The PTC president even asked MTV to change its ratings from TV-14 to TV-MA knowing that with Miley, watching the music awards won't be good for the children.
Winter cited that getting Miley to host the MTV VMAs gig is not a good idea. He referred to the 2013 performance of Cyrus where she was "twerking" on Robin Thicke, E! News reports. According to the PTC president, teenagers are not allowed to see these kinds of dodgy performance.
Knowing Cyrus, Winter warned that she will be back with a more aggressive and wild performance as she enjoys the spotlight of being the "provocateur."
Meanwhile, adding to the fueling MTV controversies is Cyrus relationship with Victoria's Secret Angel, Stella Maxwell. The two are rumored to be dating for some months already after she broke up with her ex-boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Apart from Cyrus, other celebrities who are expected to fill the music awards are Beyoncé, Taylor Swift , Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar.
